A prototype of The No Barriers Project, testing ways to engage strangers in public spaces.

Interaction design is designing interactive products, environments, systems, and services. While interaction design has an interest in form, its main focus is on behavior. Like many other design strategies, it allows for the imagining of things as they might be, rather than focusing on how things currently are.
From the background color of an app to the way a light-up object in a public space faces to the size and texture of dice in a game, every seemingly insignificant detail impacts the way we think, feel, and communicate. Knowing how to see and learn from the minutiae and how it impacts interactions is the key.
My specific interest in interactivity is designing to enable the approachability of the seemingly unapproachable, allowing for the facilitation of complex conversations and natural and comfortable interactions.
